Dust suppression in a building tunnel made in Italy

The new Brenner Tunnel that in a decade should allow the speeding up of transportation of freight between the southern and northern Europe has a problem of dust during drilling.

There was the need to install a fogging system to suppress fine particles of rock forming during the drilling phase, that did not allow to see and to breathe, despite the use of appropriate equipment.


The possiblity to install the fog system with a fog nozzle line directly on the auger has allowed to obtain the best result with a paltry investment – the fog system si easy to manage and absolutely not bulky.
